How to get real rest

Ask me if I get enough rest, and I'll tell you I make it a point to sleep at least eight hours each night. As it turns out, that response is wildly off base—because as Donavyn Coffey explains, true rest transcends sleep. The most restful activities don't require much from us cognitively, are inherently enjoyable, and, in order to be rejuvenating, can't be task-oriented.
