If you haven't physically traveled to San Francisco, you've surely been transported there via your television set or a movie screen. The City by the Bay has co-starred in everything from Dirty Harry (for the '70s kids) to Mrs. Doubtfire (we see you, millennials). It makes sense the locale would be featured often, because it has it all: historic landmarks, quirky row houses, parks, beaches, tech headquarters, one of the world's biggest Chinatowns, and so much more. And as yesterday was the175th anniversary of San Francisco being incorporated, we thought we'd invite you on a photographic stroll through its history — which goes quite a ways back.

San Francisco Was Incorporated 175 Years Ago — Take a Look Back in Photos
Take it from Tony Bennett: The loveliness of Paris and the glory of Rome just don't compare when you've left your heart in San Francisco.
Imagine you're sitting cliffside along the Amalfi Coast, sipping an Aperol spritz, or perhaps you're walking through a quaint village in the south of France, or taking a boat ride through the islands of Greece — that's how Quince's European Linen Pants will make you feel. Available in a wide variety of colors to suit your vibe, they have a relaxed fit, three pockets, and an elastic waist. Quince's breathable and naturally heat-regulating linen is made from 100% European flax, which is more sustainable and less resource-intensive to grow. Whether or not you actually make it to Europe in them, you won't find a more comfortable summer pant.
