STAND WITH ROSALIE When the FDA authorized mail-order abortions, it gave men like Rosalie’s boyfriend access to these high-risk drugs at the click of a few buttons—no in-person visit with a doctor required. This makes it all too easy to coerce or even trick women to take the drugs. And, tragically, mail-order abortions are on the rise nationwide—even in pro-life states. Here’s how that’s playing out in the country, right now: Women are taking these high-risk drugs without the oversight of a doctor—even though the drug’s own label says they send roughly one in 25 women to the emergency room when taken correctly. Men are poisoning women’s drinks with abortion drugs that they’ve ordered via mail—thereby attempting to end the life of their unborn children. (Yes, this is really happening.) Despite the overturning of Roe v. Wade, pro-life states like Louisiana can’t protect unborn children in their states because abortion-by-mail makes these high-risk drugs available far and wide. No woman should have to go through what Rosalie experienced. That’s why she’s challenging this reckless abortion-by-mail scheme in a lawsuit, with the help of ADF.
