Good morning ,
Just wanted to share something with you real quick.
I've carried IWB for years. Thought I had it all figured out… until one summer day, sitting in my truck, stuck in traffic, I realized something:
My holster was cooking me alive.
No joke — it felt like I had a hot pan tucked in my waistband. My belly was sweating, my side hurt, and I kept shifting around like I had ants in my pants. That's when I said, "Alright, enough of this cheap junk."
Tried three different holsters after that. All the same story: plastic digs in, edges rub raw, and forget wearing it with any extra weight on ya. (Which, let's be honest, most of us got a little.)
So I said screw it — and built my own. Same secure fit, same tight draw… but I wrapped it in premium faux leather, padded it up, and made it comfortable enough to wear all day, even in 95-degree heat.
What changed?
-No more swamp belly
-No more weird squeaks when I move
-No more fighting my holster to sit down at Waffle House
And yeah — vets and bigger guys like me helped test it
Now I forget I'm even wearing it — until someone asks what holster I'm using.
Anyway, if you're like me — you carry every day and you've had enough of "just okay" — give this upgraded IWB a shot. Your side (and your shirt) will thank you.
Stay safe, carry smart,
— Timothy
Just another guy who sweated through too many holsters
P.S. If you've ever had to do that awkward waistband-adjust dance in public, this one's for you.
